Green supreme shake

I found this recipe from Family Fresh Cooking.com located here: Green Supreme Shake

This is our first try at the nutrient packed shake. We had to adjust it a bit, since our ice-maker isn't working, and we had no coconut shavings. Still, it was very thick even without ice, and we love thick shakes!

I usually have the kiddos help, but Haley was cleaning her room and Sebastian was on Haley's laptop. None the less, they both got a try and gave mixed reviews.

Sebastian liked it and was upset that he only got a little.

Haley, had a mixed reaction. She hates avocados and did notice the avocado.

However, she still asked for more, which is big for her with anything that has avocados. So I'm counting that as a win!

I liked it, but also felt the kiwi made it a little too tart. This is most likely because one of them wasn't ripe enough. I definitely plan on trying it again. This time, I'll make some crushed ice ahead of time, let the kiwi ripen more, and keep coconut shavings on hand.

Juggling TpT, home, family, and volunteering.

This pic is from Thanksgiving. A very busy day, where I usually cook, and we invite a couple friends and family members.

I can spend hours every day just attending to minute details and making more creations on PowerPoint, but that inevitably cuts into the time available for working on Education (not to mention working on house, home, and family). It's a real juggling act, and I wonder how some members manage to do so much, and create such wonderful art and lessons, with so little time. Especially since many of them work more than full days at school, and I am here at home, not teaching. I wonder how I would do it if I still had a job at the school.
This isn't me, just a representation of the daily juggling all moms deal with.
